The rules, plainly.

SHOWUP is a marketplace. It helps customers plan celebrations and connects them with independent local vendors for services such as decor, music and catering. SHOWUP also sells gifts directly.

Vendors are independent businesses, not SHOWUP employees or agents. Each vendor is responsible for the services they provide. SHOWUP reviews vendors before they can receive requests, but does not guarantee any vendor's work.

You must give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 to make payments or join as a vendor.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put other users at risk, or are used for fraud.

A booking is confirmed when a vendor accepts your request and you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any other method shown at checkout.

Customers pay the vendor's price plus a service fee. Vendors pay SHOWUP a commission on each booking, taken from their payout. Both are shown before you pay or accept.

Prices are in US dollars. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you, except where we are required to collect them.

If you cancel a paid booking, the refund depends on how many days are left before the event:

• 7 days or more before: 100% of the vendor's price.
• 2 to 6 days before: 50% of the vendor's price.
• Less than 2 days before: no refund.

The customer service fee is not refundable when you cancel.

If a vendor or SHOWUP cancels, you get a full refund, including the service fee.

Once a vendor marks a job as done, the booking can no longer be cancelled.

Gift photos are representative and may differ from the item delivered. Shipping is free. You can get a full refund on a gift order until it ships. You are responsible for giving a correct delivery address.

• Describe your services and prices accurately, and keep listings current.
• Hold any licenses, permits and insurance your work requires.
• Show up as agreed, or cancel promptly through the app.
• Use customer details only to deliver the booking, and never contact customers to take payment outside SHOWUP.
• Share your location only during an active trip, as the app does.

Do not use SHOWUP to break the law, harass anyone, post false reviews, or upload content you have no right to share.

Do not try to break into accounts or systems, overload the service, scrape it, or get around its security and rate limits.

You keep ownership of what you post, such as reviews, card messages and listing photos. You give SHOWUP permission to store and display it to run the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The SHOWUP name, logo, design and software belong to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. You may not copy them without permission.

SHOWUP is provided “as is.” Live tracking and time estimates are approximate. Location updates stop when the vendor's phone is locked or the page is closed.

To the extent the law allows, SHOWUP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. SHOWUP is also not liable for a vendor's acts or omissions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here. For significant changes, we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use SHOWUP after a change means you accept it.
